Jomsom flights operate early morning only and are frequently affected by wind. We always build a buffer day into pilgrimage itineraries where your schedule allows.

Day-by-day itinerary

Early mountain flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (or scenic jeep drive), with Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri filling the windows. Transfer to Kagbeni to acclimatise, with an afternoon walk through its medieval alleys and monastery.

Mountain flight Overnight Kagbeni Village walk

Morning drive up to Muktinath Temple at 3,710 m. Darshan, the ritual bath under the 108 waterspouts and the eternal flame at Jwala Mai. Afternoon return to Jomsom via Marpha for apple brandy and the whitewashed old village.
