Day-by-day itinerary

Afternoon flight to Nepalgunj in the western Terai, overnight before the mountain connection.

Domestic flight Overnight Nepalgunj

Short morning flight to Talcha airstrip, then a scenic 3-hour walk through pine forest down to the lakeshore camp or guesthouse.

Mountain flight 3 hr walk

Circle the lake on foot, kayak or boat on the water, and climb to Murma Top for the classic panorama. Evening around the fire under exceptional night skies.

Morning by the lake, then walk back up to Talcha for the flight to Nepalgunj.

Return walk Flight

Morning flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
